Having a loooooooooooook around

So here it is Monday morning. Bright, sunny and waiting!

Not much is going to happen though as...........
Instead of doing the things I should be, I've spent the morning looking at some of my favourite blogs:

After the Witching Hour

Last night after the witching hour I was awake.
In my dressing gown and calling outside for the cat. He who has taken to going "a wandering" of late.
There I was outside listening (for the tinkle of his bell) and all I heard was the stillness, the absolute silence in the dark and there was no crashing of the waves from the ocean on my door for the first time in a month.... silence pure and dark and peaceful!

I stood for some time listening to it - peace, the sound of the world asleep, the ocean at peace and it was as if someone had tucked up the earth for a night of quiet. I inhaled it and felt it deep within and.....

Somewhere in my soul it settled me and for that short time all was okay in the world.
