Chasing Shadows

On a visit up North came across these shadow and these dunes. I thought they were just right for playing - Shadow Shot Sunday 2

and they were taken here - isn't it just BEAUTIFUL....

Birds in the garden

In my little corner in the world this morning, I can hear the birds in the garden. We have had some good rain (once) in the last few days and you can almost hear the plants greedily slurping the water up. Today is sunshine and heat once more and I do believe we are heading for a lovely 27+ later on this week. Memo: to the Weather Person in the Sky:  pssst - have you not heard of Autumn?  and cooler, gentler weather - I think you have forgotten us this year.
